The Pension Sarmacja - winter offer

Skiing on the lake.

A convenient access to the lake gives a unique accession to try skiing straight on the lake. The route round Duża Island and Rominek Bay is especially recommended for racing skiers. One can try even to Mikołajki but only when the ice layer is thick enough for cars to drive on it. Sarmacja has its own two mountains which are perfect for the beginners in skiing or kids. Of course there is no ski-lift.

When the ice layer is thick enough one should try sailing without a license - sailing on ice boats. Sarmacja organizes special courses of flying on ice - boats.

Sledging

There is no winter without sledging. There is a vast forest area with numerous paths close to the west side of the pension. We offer/hire sleighs and horses for sledging. Be careful not to lose the way while going alone. To reach the pension one needs to go along a shore line of the lake towards the North West.
